Lisa D. Wright

If you've ever seen "So You Think You Can Dance" or been to a Taylor Swift concert, then you have probably seen one of the many dancers who have trained under the expertise of Lisa D Wright.  As a dancer, choreographer, and director, many have been witness to her fresh style of hip hop and street jazz.  Born in the performing arts capital of the world, New York City, Lisa was destined to be a performer.  Beginning her dance career at the tender age of five, she studied at the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. A graduate of North Carolina A & T State University, she has spent her post-collegiate years traveling the East and West Coasts continuing studying and teaching at some of the most prominent dance companies and studios.

Following in the footsteps of her mentors, Chonique Sneed and Lisette Bustamante, she is an Elite Team Leader for the Los Angeles based dance mentorship program, "Creating Opportunities", as well as holding reign as Founder of EleKtriK Dance Company.  Realizing there wasn't an outlet for the aspiring commercial dancers in Charlotte, NC, she established EleKtriK Dance Company to help girls in North Carolina have the opportunity to train with the best artists and gain the confidence and knowledge needed to make it in the commercial dance industry.  She has also had the opportunity to work with CollectiveUth teaching workshops in both NYC and NC. Highlights in her dance career have included appearing as a principle dancer in a commercial for AT&T, Nike, music videos and tours both nationally and internationally, the opening act of Hairspray on Broadway, and both performing and choreographing for promo tours for BETs 106 and Park.  She is honored to have won numerous awards for both her choreography & her performance.

Miss Lisa proudly states … "Growing up in a poor, single parent household, I was taught that through hard work and perseverance … anything is possible. You can be anything you want to be!  And if what you want doesn't exist, who says you can't create it?"

Jasmine Neely

A Charlotte native, Jasmine’s love for dance began at BB Dance Productions when she was three years old. She danced for 15 consecutive years at BB winning multiple first overall group awards, until she graduated from Independence High School and went to college. She didn’t want to know what life would be like without dance, so there was no question that when she made the decision to attend The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the first things she did was join the dance team.

During her four years on the team, she competed at two national championships, UDA (United Dance Alliance) and NDA (National Dance Alliance). She was awarded the prestigious Collegiate Top All-American at NDA (the National Dance Alliance) summer camp in 2014. Most recently, Jasmine has continued her love of performing by joining the Carolina Panther’s cheerleading team, The TopCats, in 2017. In addition, she dances and leads the dance ministry at Mayfield Memorial Missionary Baptist church, as part of the GEMS (Grace in Motion) praise dance team.

During her time at BB, Jasmine performed on many stages including at Walt Disney World, Charlotte Hornet’s games, CIAA, For Sisters Only in Charlotte, Johnson C. Smith University basketball games, weddings and other numerous events. In college, she’s had the opportunity to perform four times at the Sanford Fair in Sanford, NC, home basketball and football games and many charitable events.

At UNC, Jasmine majored in Media and Journalism with a minor in African American Diaspora studies. She currently works at NASCAR in the Integrated Marketing Communications department.

Jasmine is thrilled to be back at home teaching what she loves the most! She attributes most of her accomplishments and life-long friendships to her experience at BB, and wants nothing but to give students the same experience she had.
